Which was our best September goal?

Last updated : 30 September 2015 By Tony Scholes
August winner Matt Taylor

David Jones kicked off the month with his free kick at the cricket field end In our 3-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday and by the end of the game there were two more goals to choose from, Matt Taylor's volley from Andre Gray's cross and then Gray's first Burnley goal as he blocked a clearance before going through to score.

Sam Vokes scored the opener in the 2-1 victory over MK, hitting home from outside the box and in the second half it was George Boyd who scored the winner with his first goal since he netted in the 1-0 victory against Man City last March.

That's five goals and five different scorers, and the month was complete with a sixth scorer when Tendayi Darikwa converted Scott Arfield's left wing cross to halve the deficit in what was a 2-1 home defeat against Reading.

You can vote via the VOTING POLLS page or the front page of the site and voting will run for the next three days, ending at midnight on Friday after which the Rotherham man of the match vote will get underway.

The winning goal will be automatically included in the Goal of the Season vote next May, added to Matt Taylor's free kick against Birmingham which won the August vote.
