Time to choose your goal of the season

Last updated : 29 May 2015 By Tony Scholes

But ten goals have been selected for the goal of the season vote as follows, starting with Scott Arfield's opener against Chelsea back in August. Ross Wallace's late free kick at Leicester follows and then it's George Boyd's goal against Newcastle at home that gave us the lead.

Ashley Barnes takes over then with his two away strikes at Spurs and Man City with Danny Ings getting in with his deft headed goal at Newcastle that took the score to 2-2, before Arfield gets his second selection with his superb goal at the cricket field end against QPR.

It's a cup goal next with Marvin Sordell's opener at Spurs before we end with two goals against the Manchester clubs, firstly Ings at Old Trafford and finally Boyd's winner on the Turf against Man City which proved to be the last home goal we scored.

You have until the end of Monday to vote to find which goal will follow on from goals scored by Arthur Gnohere, Dean West, Robbie Blake, Lee Roche, Micah Hyde, Ade Akinbiyi, Wade Elliott, Martin Paterson, Jack Cork, Jay Rodriguez, Charlie Austin and Barnes which have all won the Clarets Mad Goal of the Season award since it was introduced in the 2001/02 season.

You can vote via the front page of the site or the VOTING POLLS page. It will end on Monday and next week we'll have the best home performance of the season vote.
