The vote for the man of the match in the last game, the 1-0 away defeat against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, was won by central midfielder Dean Marney who was starting his first game since February after returning from a cruciate ligament injury and got through the ninety minutes in what was a disappointing performance for Burnley.
