It leaves Megson with just Geoff Horsfield and Lee Hughes so this morning he completed a deal to sign Facey from Bolton on a contract that will see him at the Hawthorns until the end of the season.
Facey was never really a first team player at Bolton and apart from two games with the Clarets he was mainly disappointing although Stan was keen to bring him in on a permanent basis.
There were suggestions this week that he was one of the targets but it is Megson who has stepped in to sign him and he is set to make his debut.
