After the draw against Sunderland, manager Sean Dyche said of him: "I think Juke was absolutely tremendous today," adding: "I was a centre half and I wouldn't have enjoyed playing against him today. A goal would have capped things off, that's for sure."
The Burnley fans are very much of the same opinion and definitely here on Clarets Mad where Juke was voted man of the match and top of the player ratings.
He won 46.2% in the man of the match vote, a percentage that has been bettered only once this season, that by Scott Arfield against Chelsea when he had 61% of the vote.
Juke was well clear of the field with only home debutant George Boyd, with 18.7%, getting into double figures to finish second. Third place went to David Jones with 8.8% whilst a 7.6% share won Michael Duff fourth place.
The player ratings result was somewhat different but no doubting that Jutkiewicz was again the clear winner. He had a rating of 8.33 out of 10, again bettered only once this season with Arfield's performance against Chelsea.
Jason Shackell was second this time with a rating of 7.82 and third and fourth places went to Jones and Kieran Trippier with ratings of 7.75 and 7.65 out of 10 respectively.
That meant points for six players towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Jutkiewicz won the maximum ten points and Jones picked up four points. Both Boyd and Shackell won three points with Duff and Trippier winning one point each.
The result has certainly reduced Arfield's lead at the top of the table. He's now six points in front of Jutkiewicz with Shackell, Duff and Jones close to each other in the next three places but with Shackell 13 points behind Jutkiewicz.
The next man of the match vote is for this Sunday's away game against West Brom at the Hawthorns. The vote should be available within an hour of the final whistle.
