Chris Anderson - impressed in the win over Preston
Preston have now dropped into second place but they've played more games than any other club, and two more than the Clarets and the two sides directly below them on goal difference.

We are currently the highest scorers in the league but, because of the three goals conceded at Tranmere, we have only the second best defensive record with Morecambe having conceded only twice so far in three games.

There certainly should be goals next week in our game with Shrewsbury, on eleven, the second highest scorers and they have two players on three goals each, Tom Bradshaw and Kris Bright.

Both have played in the first team this season with Bradshaw having netted their first goal in a 2-2 draw at Wycombe.

It is a full fixture list next week and Bury will be looking to get a result against Preston at Radcliffe Borough. They remain the only side in the league now without a point.
