The 2-2 result made no difference to the league table with Burnley extending their lead at the top to eight points from second place Preston and we are now eleven points clear of Oldham, Wrexham and Macclesfield who take the next positions.
We've now played more games than any other club in the league and are half way through our fixtures. What a change that is from last season when we'd played only seven games up to the beginning of March, leaving us with 11 games still to be played in a nine week period at the end of the season.
There are a couple of games next week and they are followed by a full fixture list a week later. They will be the last fixtures of 2010 in the reserve league which will then re-open in the week commencing 10th January with Burnley's first game of the year against Wrexham at Airbus UK's ground at the Broughton Airfield on the12th with a 2:00 p.m. kick off.
