Chris Scott - plays at full back
I’m sure we will field the tallest striker to have played for us with Preston’s 6ft 8ins Nigerian Fola Onibuje in the line up, given special permission to play by the Weary Whinger no less.

The 19-year-old spent a month on loan with Huddersfield earlier in the season but made just two substitute appearances for them against Cheltenham and Oxford. He didn’t find the net in either game.

There will be a very familiar name in defence, that of Chris Scott, but it does not signal a return to the club for a member of the Miller dynasty, this particular Scott is a 19-year-old defender from Sunderland. He is a native of the north east, from South Shields, and has captained both their Under-17 and Under-19 teams.

Burnley will line up tonight:

Michael Hale, Chris Scott, Ryan Townsend, Neal Trotman, Danny Pitham, Joel Pilkington, Joe Booth, Darrell Avery, Marc Pugh, Alex Taylor, Fola Onibuje. Subs: Cayne Hanley, Nicky Platt, Adam Jones, Rhys Carpenter, Gary Carter.

The Hull side is somewhat inexperienced but is boosted by the inclusion of former Scunthorpe and Port Vale keeper Paul Musselwhite in goal and Jamie Forrester up front.

Hull were down near the bottom with the Clarets for some time but a defeat last week against Barnsley.brought to an end a run of nine games unbeaten and they will start clear favourites tonight.

Hull line up:

Paul Musselwhite, Scott Wiseman, Nathan Peat, James Tomlinson, Michael Byron, Richard Hinds, Russell Fry, Simon Russell, Jamie Forrester, Jon Walters, Andy Holt.
