The Played for Both feature gets an update

Last updated : 17 November 2015 By Tony Scholes
Marvin Sordell is now with Colchester

This is the feature that lists each club alphabetically with a list of those players who have played for that club and for Burnley, It starts with Accrington and players from Len Martindale and Jim Milner right up to Wes Fletcher and Kevin Long.

And it ends with York which also features Fletcher and players such as Marlon Beresford, Paul Barnes and Adrian Randall to name just four.

Since the last update both Chris Long, Joey Barton and Matt Lowton have made their Burnley debuts which has seen Long added to the lists for Brentford, Everton and MK, Barton to Man City, Newcastle and QPR, with Lowton now on the Aston Villa and Sheffield United lists.

Former players have been added to new clubs. They are Nathan Dyer (Leicester), Chris Eagles (Bury), Richard Eckersley (Oldham), Martin Paterson (Blackpool), Marvin Sordell (Colchester) and Kieran Trippier (Spurs) all who have played for these new clubs since the 3rd September update.

Danny Lafferty has also been added to Oldham although Cameron Dummigan (Oldham), Luke Hendrie (Hartlepool) and Danijel Nizic (Crewe) have not been included as they are still to play competitive first team football for Burnley.

One other addition is Michael Kightly and thanks to one reader for passing on that we'd already added him to Southend, Wolves and Watford but had not included him with Stoke. Please let us know if there are any other omissions.

The Played for Both feature can be found within the Players drop down menu with the facility to visit each players profile page by clicking on the name.
