Referee James (Jimmy) Adcock will officiate at Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
He is not exactly known to be "Red Card" crazy. The referee who hails from Nottinghamshire has overseen 20 games so far this season. He has so far issued 52 yellow cards and not one single red card in the process. Joey Barton should be OK to tackle then!
His last Clarets refereeing date was the 1-0 victory over Barnsley in December 2013. He booked both Junior Stanislas and Marcus Tudgay on that occasion.
