Botswana born central midfielder Brandon Wilson, who arrived from Australia two years ago, has won himself a deal alongside wide players Brad Jackson and Christian Hill and striker Ntumba Massanka.

Andreas Bianga lost a considerable time during the 2013/14 season because of injury and as such has received an extension until Christmas but it is not good news for full back and youth team captain Waqas Azam, the only Burnley born player amongst them. He's not been offered a deal and will leave at the end of the season, this after around nine years at Turf Moor.

Due to the nomadic life of the youth team this season with the work being carried out at Gawthorpe, it has been more difficult for Clarets Mad to take in the games, but we would certainly wish to congratulate the successful lads on winning their contracts.

But more so, we are sorry to see Waqas leaving us and wish him all the very best for the future and hope he can find himself another club for the start of next season.

The successful players will move up to Michael Jolley's development squad next season on a permanent basis, which itself saw some of its players win new deals just last week with others being released.
