Paterson on his way yet again

It's known that Pompey have had to offers turned down for Pato, believed to be in the region of £1.5 million, but now it is being reported that Portsmouth are SET TO SNAP HIM UP whilst the same report suggests only that he MAY BE SOLD by the Clarets.

This time the fee is £2.5 million and the report says former manager Steve Cotterill is already in talks with the club. Watch out Clarets, this is the man who got £1.2 million for Wayne Thomas and whatever he may be he's a good negotiator in terms of transfers.

Meanwhile, despite all speculation, Pato was at Gigg Lane last night but was ruled out after suffering a slight problem in training. Right now, if there are to be any more departures from Turf Moor, I'm not so sure Martin Paterson is the most likely.

Having said that, if he money supposedly offered keeps going up, who knows what might happen?
