It is Goal of the Season time

Jay Rodriguez
It's no surprise to see the name of Jay Rodriguez feature more than any other player. Jay was our leading scorer in the league and his 14 league goals hasn't been bettered by a Burnley player since Robbie Blake notched 19 in the 2003/04 season.

Jay's late goal at Sheffield United is in there along with home goals against Leeds, Crystal Palace and his first against Coventry.

Chris Eagles has three entries. They are his goal at Morecambe in the Carling Cup and his first in each of the home games against Hull and Barnsley.

Dean Marney only scored three goals but two of them have made it into the last 16, his overhead kick at Portsmouth and his sweet strike from the edge of the box against Norwich at home. And another to find two of his three goals making it into the vote is Jack Cork. They are his late winners at home to Derby and at Preston.

That leaves five goals from five other players. They are Chris Iwelumo, the volley that brought him his second in his hat trick against Preston, Tyrone Mears' free kick at home to Derby, John Guidetti's header at Barnsley in that rarest of Oakwell wins, Wade Elliott's goal at home to Middlesbrough and the last monthly winner, Chris McCann on his comeback at Derby.

All you have to do now is make your choice. The voting poll is down the right hand side of the front page and will run until the end of Thursday.
