Harvey signs for Fleetwood

News broke almost a week ago that Alex was set to sign for Fleetwood but nothing was confirmed by either club.

However, he has been training with them all week and has put pen to paper this morning on a one month deal that will hopefully see the 20-year-old midfielder get some first team football.

Alex-Ray has been on the fringes of the first team at Burnley. Along with Wes Fletcher he travelled to Singapore on the pre-season tour and but for injury might well have made a first team competitive debut in the Carling Cup tie at Morecambe.

He's been with the first team squad on a few occasions this season and has made the bench too although, as yet, hasn't been called upon.

He's joining a club managed by Micky Mellon who will know Harvey well from his time as a coach at Burnley's centre of excellence.

Alex-Ray Harvey is Clarets Mad's sponsored player for the 2010/11 season and we certainly wish him well at Highbury over the next month.
