Gifton gets clearance

He left Spain at the end of last season having been released by Elche CF and after spending time training with the League One side he agreed a short term deal last week and was initially included in their squad for the Swindon game.

However, the international clearance didn't come through in time from the Spanish FA and so he had a watching brief as Millwall recorded a fifth successive league win.

That international clearance has now come through and he goes straight into their squad for the home game against Franchise tomorrow when he is expected to be named as a substitute.
