Gifton could make Millwall bow

He's been looking for a return home and has been training with the Lions who have now hit a crisis with their strikers. Neil Harris is out with a back injury whilst Tresor Kandol (on loan from Leeds) is out suspended after being sent off in their win at Leicester.

Manager Kenny Jackett has signed Plymouth's Jermaine Easter on an emergency loan and has also offered Gifton a short term contract (presumably until the New Year). Easter is in the squad for Sunday's game at Swindon and Gifton will be provided the international clearance comes through in time from the Spanish FA.

Gifton's last appearance in England was in our 1-0 home defeat to Stoke in January 2007 just a week before he was sold to Real Murcia for £50,000.
