The new Burnley Football Club retail "Super Store" and Ticket Office construction and shopfitting project is now well on its way to completion.

Clarets' Head of Retail James Forsyth and assistant manager Glynn Clark claim the PUMA designed and supplied new Premier League kit launch has surpassed all expectations.

The new kit pre-order has seen more kits pre-ordered on the first day than in the corresponding 2 weeks of last year. That is another official BFC record you can hear breaking!

The enthusiastic store management team also ask us to agree it's the best shirt for some time now? It is also claimed it is the best ever from supporters who have paid their money and ordered the new kit.

It is understood everything is on course for the new facility to be up and running in the first week of August but everyone knows that "having the builders in" can bring delays and complications.

As yet, there is no official date for the store opening but be assured Clarets Mad will be sure to give you a heads up once we know anything concrete - building pun not intended!

We are informed there is more than enough stock to fill the 3000 square foot store, especially as a new range of  trainingwear will form an integral part of the store opening "bonanza".

There is also a variety of new products and ranges on offer that have never appeared in the Clarets store before - so there is plenty to get excited about.

The mobile retail unit which regularly appeared on Harry Potts Way will be having a overhaul, be spruced up all good and ready for the new Premier League season.

It is envisaged a change of location for the retail caravan may be in the pipeline, possibly in the ever popular Fanzone location. There is absolutely no doubt "Clarets Retail" have come a very long way in a short space of time.

Can we "Do a Leicester" and embrace Europe next? (TEC).
