It's the first time we've been away from home on opening day since 2009, when we went to Stoke, and our first home game of the season this time will see us up against Birmingham whilst QPR, relegated as bottom club in the Premier League last season, will be our last visitors of the season.
In midweek, we must travel to Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, MK Franchise and Fulham and the dates everyone will look for are those against fierce local rivals Blackburn. We travel to Ewood on Saturday 24th October with the Turf Moor fixture on 5th March.
Our Boxing Day fixture is at Hull with the home festive game coming two days later against Bristol City.
