Jordan was released by Stuart Pearce at the end of last season and had been with City for nine years since joining them as an apprentice. The 25-year-old is, according to some of the tabloid press this morning, set to be out fourth summer signing.

We've already added Gabor Kiraly, Besart Berisha and Robbie Blake to the squad since the end of last season and all three of them played in the first pre-season friendly at Accrington. More signings are expected by the time West Brom arrive at Turf Moor to kick off the new season and Steve Cotterill will be keen to get them in as soon as possible and certainly before the squad fly out to Austria.

We've still got four games to play in England before that week in Obertraun and if the tabloid press are to believed our next signing could be in place by the time we reach the Racecourse for our game at Wrexham tomorrow night.
