There is no Boxing Day clash with Barnsley this coming season; we have been paired with their local rivals Doncaster Rovers at home on the day after Christmas and the whole festive fixture programme sees Roses games with a home game against Hull to follow and then a trip to Leeds for the first game in 2012.
Midweek away games this coming season are at Birmingham, Barnsley, Nottingham Forest, Ipswich and Leicester and the whole season comes to a close (the league season that is) on 28th April with the visit to Turf Moor of Bristol City, a real reminder of the end of the 2008/09 season.
That comes a week after our last away game of the season which is at newly relegated Blackpool.
