He's predominantly been used in the bottom two divisions but in January was given his first Championship game when he refereed the 0-0 draw between Crystal Palace and Bristol City.
Palace had two players yellow carded in that game, Bristol City had none, and overall he's not often used his cards. He's refereed a total of 18 games in which there have been 40 yellow cards and just the one red card.
Of those yellow cards, 18 have gone to home team players and 22 to away team players. The only player he's sent off is Port Vale's Marc Richards in a 2-1 home win against Burton Albion on New Year's Day Bank Holiday. That red card left Richards suspended for the FA Cup tie against Burnley.
His last game came a week last Saturday when there were no cards in Peterborough's 3-0 home win against Exeter.
The assistant referees are Rob Merchant (Staffordshire) and Andy Newell (Lancashire). The fourth official is Joe Hull (Cheshire).
