Austin makes Team of the Week

Austin, who won a place in the League One team on a number of occasions during his time at Swindon has been named for the first time at Championship level after scoring his third and fourth goals for Burnley.

It's just the third time he's scored more than once in a game and this is the second occasion it has been in an away game. He netted twice in Swindon's 3-2 home win against Leyton Orient in December 2009, but his last brace prior to Saturday was, again for Swindon, in a 4-2 win at Charlton in January of this year. They proved to be his last Swindon goals.

On Saturday he gave Burnley the lead four minutes into the second half when he converted from a ball played back to him by Keith Treacy and then got onto a rebound off goalkeeper Frank Fielding to notch the winner.

He was the only Championship player to score twice over the weekend and it's won him a place in a team made up of players from 10 different clubs with only West Ham having two players selected.

The team is: Luke Steele (Barnsley), Tony McMahon (Middlesbrough), Martin Taylor (Watford), Paul Robinson (Millwall), Aaron Cresswell (Ipswich), Robbie Brady (Hull), Mark Noble (West Ham), Pete Whittingham (Cardiff), Craig Noone (Brighton), Charlie Austin (Burnley), Carlton Cole (West Ham).
