It was considered some time ago but has been inspired by recent threads on the message board discussing old postcards of the town, pictures of the old Empire cinema and the goings on in the Summit area of town in the 1950s and 1960s.
At the launch there are photographs from the Summit and also a small number taken in the town centre featuring the bus station (shown above), Keirby, police station and town hall.
