| Archie Love has received a Scotland under-19s call up |
The young Clarets came close to lifting the title last season but in the end had to settle for second place with the trophy going to Rochdale by two points.
Hopes are high again that this can be a good season and we travel to Morecambe with all but one of the starting eleven from the second years and above. The team includes Steven Hewitt who has been involved with the first team during pre-season and he will line up in a strong Burnley team.
Alongside him in the midfield is Archie Love who yesterday received a call up to a Scotland under-19 training camp which will be held at the Sportsscotland National Centre Inverclyde in Largs from 15th to 17th August.
Jason Gilchrist is the only first year who will start whilst Jack Errington is on the bench alongside four members of the under-16 team who have all featured during pre-season.
We will line up: Josh Cook, Aryn Williams, Alex Coleman, Tom Anderson, Dean Overson, Adam Evans, Alex Mullin, Steven Hewitt, Archie Love, Shay McCartan, Jason Gilchrist. Subs: Callum Jakovlevs, Jack Errington, Charlie Holt, WIll Kinder, Nathan Laws.
