Season ends for youths today

Apart from looking to end the season with a victory, and three games without defeat, a win would also see us complete the double over Fleetwood having beaten them 1-0 in the away game in December courtesy of a goal from Jamie Frost.

It's some time since we played them at home; we have to go back to September 2013 and on that occasion we won 4-1. Christian Hill (pictured) got a couple of the goals that day with the others coming from Brad Jackson and Ntumba Massanka. All three are in the squad today with the first two starting and Massanka on the bench.

With the continued absence of goalkeeper Tony Aghayere through injury, it gives under-16 goalkeeper Connor King another opportunity but the remainder of the starting eleven are current scholars.

The bench sees Massanka joined by four members of the junior teams. Goalkeeper Marcel Wusiewicz is from the under-15 team whilst Mark Howarth, Nashé Chakwana and Mark Howarth, like King are under-16s and due to become scholars next season.

The team is: Connor King, Waqas Azam, Shaun Hobson, Lewis Norvock, Christian Hill, Jamal Crawford, Andreas Bianga, Brandon Wilson, Brad Jackson, Josh Dolling, Khius Metz. Subs: Marcel Wusiewicz, Mark Howarth, Nashé Chakwana, Clarke, Ntumba Massanka.
