The game gives the Burnley team an opportunity to climb into second place in the league and put pressure on Rochdale at the top. Three points would see us go within three points of the leaders with a game in hand.

Burnley, however, go into this game without the two leading goalscorers Joe Jackson and Joe McKee. As coach Terry Pashley rotates his squad it means Jackson has a place on the bench but McKee is missing for the best of reasons; he's currently in Scotland at a training camp with the national under-19 squad.
