It was a very disappointing performance at Huddersfield, very much so in the first half, but again Vokes came out on top. He and Danny Ings have shared the goals during the month but again Vokes has been the player picking up points.
In this latest game he secured 35.5% of the vote for the man of the match with central defender Michael Duff taking second place, despite his late red card, with 12.8%. Scott Arfield, on his return to his former club, was third with an 11.0% share whilst Tom Heaton and substitute Junior Stanislas came third, each securing 8.1% of the vote.
In the lowest overall ratings of the season there was only one winner. Vokes, with 7.13 out of 10, was the only player to get a rating over seven with only three other players getting more than six.
Those three were Kieran Trippier who was second with 6.35, Arfield whose rating of 6.29 gave him third place and Jason Shackell who came fourth with a rating of 6.13 out of 10.
Vokes, already in front for November, won a further ten points. There were four points for Arfield and three each for Duff and Trippier with Heaton, Shackell and Stanislas all winning a single point.
Those points took Vokes to a total of 28 points for the month. That was nine more than Duff who was second. He had 19 points with Arfield (18) and Shackell (16) just behind.
The latest points have also seen Vokes return to the top of the Clarets Mad Player of the Year Table. With five games to go to half way in the season he, and second place Shackell, are stretching their lead at the top game by game. Vokes now leads Shackell but two points but Ings, who is third, is now 33 points behind Shackell.
