Josh McQuoid scored our opening goal in the 2-1 Easter win at Doncaster, and that goal landed him the April Goal of the Month with a 52.4% share. With all those monthly winners in place it is now time to vote for the goal of the season.
|Last season's winner Jack Cork|
That McQuoid goal joins the other eight monthly winners and a selection of the best runners up over the season to provide a list of 16 goals to select from over the next three days.
Charlie Austin and Jay Rodriguez have been the top scorers over the season and they both have two entries, Austin's against Burton Albion and Leeds United, and Jay's late goals at Hull and at home to Peterborough.
Ross Wallace too finds himself with two goals in the list but the player ahead of them with three goals is right back and Clarets Mad Player of the Year Kieran Trippier. He scored three league goals in his debut season as a Claret and all three are three, at Brighton, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth, have made it into the top list.
The other seven goals have come from Wade Elliott, Keith Treacy, Andre Amougou, Chris McCann, Marvin Bartley, McQuoid and our last goal of the season which was scored by Danny Ings in our 1-1 draw against Bristol City just over a week ago.
Who will win the goal of the season which a year ago went to Jack Cork for the late winner against Preston at Deepdale?
You can vote via the front page of the site or the VOTING POLLS site and have until the end of Wednesday to cast your vote.
