Jay Rodriguez won the November Goal of the Month

November saw a choice of eleven goals but in December, once the penalty and own goal against Doncaster have been taken away, there are only five goals to choose from.

The first two of those goals came in the dramatic comeback against West Ham down at the Boleyn Ground on the first Saturday of the month.

Chris McCann got the first, heading home a Junior Stanislas cross following a thrown in an the winner was from Sam Vokes with another header, this time from a Ross Wallace left wing corner.

We didn't score against Portsmouth but goal number three came on the Saturday before Christmas. It was Kieran Trippier's first league goal for the Clarets, a shot from just outside the box at Brighton after a right wing corner.

The remaining two goals were scored by Martin Paterson in his first two starts at Turf Moor since the opening day of the season. His headed his first, the second of our three goals against Doncaster, after a Jay Rodriguez had hit the bar.

His goal against Hull, the only goal of the game, came when he capitalised on a mistake by Hull defender Jack Hobbs and his goalkeeper . Pato had put them under pressure with his run and was there to take advantage when the ball dropped to him.

The voting is now underway and will run until the end of Friday and you can vote either from the front page or via the VOTING POLLS page.

The winning goal will automatically be entered for the Goal of the Season along with the other monthly winners which are Charlie Austin (August v Burton), Andre Amougou (September v MK Franchise), Ross Wallace (October v Blackpool) and Jay Rodriguez (November v Hull).
