It's Goal of the Month(s) time

Last updated : 05 November 2014 By Tony Scholes

So, the goal of the month vote will be the goal of the months vote for August, September and October when we have a total of five goals to choose from.

The first, obviously, is Arfield's in that opening weekend Chelsea defeat with the next two coming in the draw at Leicester, the first from Michael Kightly when he turned in a header from Lukas Jutkiewicz and the second that late, late free kick from substitute Ross Wallace.

They came on the first Saturday in October. It was followed by the second international break of the season but we came back after that break and, despite losing both games, we scored in successive home games.

George Boyd scored the goal against West Ham at the Jimmy Mac end, scoring from close range after Danny Ings had managed to move the loose ball to him and it was Ings himself, with his first Turf Moor goal since February, latching on to a through ball from Jutkiewicz, taking it round Tim Howard and slotting it into the net at the cricket field end.

There's your choice, goals from Arfield, Kightly, Wallace, Boyd and Ings.

You can vote via the front page of the site or the VOTING POLLS page and the vote will run until the end of Friday.
