It was a first clean sheet of the season that saw the goalkeeper and three of the back four win places in the top four in both the vote and the ratings with goalscorer Michael Keane a comfortable winner in both.
Keane won the man of the match vote with a 47.7% share, some way ahead of Tendayi Darikwa who came in second having won 25.2%. They were the only two players to get double figures which meant Michael Duff took third place with 7.5% of the vote while a 4.2% share was enough to see Tom Heaton clinch fourth place.
The same four players claimed the four places at the top of the ratings too with Keane once again on top with a rating of 7.75 out of 10 and Darikwa once more in second place having secured a rating of 7.05.
Third and fourth swapped this time. Heaton was third with 6.73 while a 6.50 out of 10 rating gave Duff fourth place.
This result means Keane wins the maximum ten points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year with Darikwa winning six points and three points each for Duff and Heaton.
Those four players are now the top four in that table. Keane is the new leader with 23 points, just two ahead of Darikwa's 21 points. Duff is third with 15 points and Heaton has now moved into fourth place with his 11 points taking him up three places ahead of Michael Kightly, Ben Mee and Lukas Jutkiewicz.
