It wasn't quite as comprehensive as in the previous game against Charlton and both were close run affairs with Vokes just about coming out on top.
He polled 27.8% of the man of the match vote and that gave him first place just ahead of Scott Arfield who had a 26.1% share. Some way behind, Michael Duff was third with 9.4% with David Jones and Kieran Trippier sharing fourth place, both with 8.5% of the vote.
Vokes and Arfield followed that up with the top two places in the player ratings, and in the same positions. Vokes' rating was 8.33 out of 10 with Arfield on exactly 8 out of 10 coming second.
Trippier and Jones, joint fourth in the vote, were split this time. Trippier was third with a rating of 7.86, and Jones, just behind with 7.81 out of 10, came fourth.
Vokes again had the maximum 10 points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Arfield won six points, Trippier collected three points with both Duff and Jones securing two points.
What a change there's been. In a period when Jason Shackell has been in outstanding form at the back he's virtually lost his lead at the top of the player of the year table because of the form of our strikers, and in particular Vokes.
Shackell is still top but his lead is now only one point from Vokes with Ings just another six points behind that. The way things are going this season it could be really close throughout and Arfield became the latest and eighth player to reach 20 points.
