2011 Dinner - A Huge Success

During the evening a cheque for £3,000 was presented to Martin Dobson to sponsor the under-11 team in a forthcoming tournament in Malta and, after addressing the guests, Dobbo recipricated by presenting Clarets Mad with an award for our continued support over five years.
Chief Executive Paul Fletcher was the main speaker on the night whilst guests also included directors Brendan Flood and John Banaszkiewicz and four of our youngest professional players Joe Jackson, Dave Lynch, Joe McKee and Ross Wilson.
Manager Eddie Howe was unable to attend for family reasons but his apologies were received and he sent a signed shirt that went into the auction along with John B's offer of a match day for two with the directors.
Our fundraising has now gone past £46,000 with the next even the golf day in June for which there are still some places remaining.
