Premier league newbies Burnley are unlikely to be too fazed going into the game against the former Champions of Europe.

A surprise Carling Cup victory by Owen Coyle's side and a point gained on their last visit to Stamford Bridge suggests the Clarets will be undaunted by their visit to the capital.

Following last week's three point tally against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, Burnley gaffer Sean Dyche now finds himself up against new Chelsea supremo Antonio Conte.

Dyche speaking ahead of the game said, “Obviously there have been some big signings in between the last time we played (Chelsea) and there always are at the top clubs, but if you look at their squad quite a lot of the players who we played against two years ago are still there.

“I think that the manager will make a difference and the way they play will be slightly different, however I don’t think it will be a drastic change as I have seen them this season already.”

Dyche was obviously disappointed with his side's shock exit in the midweek EFL Cup clash against local outfit Accrington Stanley.

He added: “This is how crazy football has gone; against Accrington we were giants and Saturday we’re minnows!

“That’s how bizarre football has become and the perception of it. But my players can walk in there a little bit more familiar as they’ve been to these grounds and they’ve played on the pitches; not all of them but most of our players.

Alluding to their last relegation from the Premier League, followed by an immediate return to the top flight of English football and the experience his squad have accumulated, Dyche added, “It doesn’t guarantee your result, but it just means that everyone’s a bit more familiar with it.

“Chelsea have got high quality players on the pitch, and they’ve got high quality players who are not even getting stripped and coming off the bench, such as Cesc Fabregas last week, so it gives you an idea of the depth that these clubs have.”

Burnley are unlikely to be changed from the side that started against Liverpool and i expect the Clarets to line up:

Heaton, Lowton, Ward, Keane, Mee, Defour, Gray, Marney, Vokes, Arfield & Boyd. (TEC).
