The Clarets are live from Molineux this evening
Well it's all about the cup this evening as both sides put aside their respective league campaigns for this all important Carling Cup clash.

Burnley will be looking to repeat it's form of last season in cup matches where Tottenham were invited to the Turf and beaten. This time it is newly promoted Wolverhampton a side the Clarets have a history of struggling against. In fact, the 2-1 win at Turf Moor last season was the first time we had beaten them in the league since the 1986/87 season, when a 1-0 scoreline was enough to earn the Clarets a win in the first leg of the same cup. However we went out in the second leg.

All of that is put aside tonight though, the past doesn't mean a thing. Wolves are coming off a stunning come-from-behind win against fellow Premiership new boys Leicester on the weekend, slamming home 4 goals un-answered to win the match 4-3. Other than that, Wolves have certainly found the going tough on their return to the top flight, however their manager Dave Jones has claimed that some of his fringe players will get a run tonight, in typical Premiership style.

The Clarets on the other hand, as bad as the 6-1 loss to Ipswich was, have only lost the 1 game in their last 8, and are coming off the back of two draws against West Ham away, and Millwall at home last Saturday. It will be a big night for Mo Camara, coming up against his old club at which he was a crowd favourite, he is one player who will hope to impress and one would imagine he will work his socks off. Burnley also welcome back another Premiership player, Glen Little who returns from his loan spell at Bolton. Glen was only used as a sub by manager Sam Allardyce, and will be looking forward to getting a full match under his belt tonight.

The bad news is May, Chadwick and Weller are all out through injury, the latter two after injuries picked up at the weekend. We will be down to 4 subs it seems again.

Thank you for joining me this evening, I hope the commentary is bearable. With the daylight savings changes it has certainly been made more tough. Please scroll down for pre-match team news.

Pre-Match
Mo Camara given the captaincy. In comes Grant and Little.
Special moment for Mo Camara, who leads his side out after 45 games at Molineux.
About 400 Clarets have travelled to the midlands this evening, well done to them.

Match:
Wolves will kick-off going left to right.
' Early goal-kick to Burnley after a hopeful Henri Camara ball goes to nothing.
' Blake hit a long range shot after the ball from Mo Camara, Oakes had to scramble but it was a comfortable save.
' Little's ball nodded clear by Luzhny, looked a good early cross from Super.
' Bird chooses to reflect on our past results against Wolves, thank you Phil.
' Iversen gets away but Branch nipped in and knocked it back to Jensen who cleared it well, too well in fact as Oakes collects it.
' Dean West takes it in a rather uncomfortable area. Gee how often does that lad get hit in the bajeebers.
' Corner to Wolves, ball in and an unconvincing punch, Ian Moore was able to nod it clear, Butler's shot well over the bar from long range.
' West's ball (the football that is) couldn't find Moore, as Oakes just got their first.
' Camara slipped it in for Iversen to gave it to Miller and it was a nice turn, Branch got in and sliced it away for a corner. Swung in and headed away by Ian Moore.
' Clarets surging forward from a Jensen clearance, Blake's shot deflected for a corner (off Chaplow however). Goes short, gets it back does Blake, poor ball in, comes back to West who takes a shot but it goes well over the bar.
' Facey just caught offside.
' Blake getting down the left, looks for Chaplow but cleared by Naylor easily.
' Foul by Grant, strong challenge by the former Everton and Man City player.
' Iversen appeared to get away from the last man and through on goal but the flag went up straight away. Jensen actually made a terrific save, he wasn't to know the flag went up.
' Chaplow makes a great challenge, throw-in to Wolves.
' Cross from Luzhny swung it for Iversen, but he couldn't direct his header goal bound under pressure.
' Little fed a lovely ball for Chaplow who collected it on the edge of the box, back for Blake who's shot is blocked. Wolves on the counter, comes to nothing.
' Branch sends it clear after Gnohere is hit in the back of the head with the ball.
' Silas sends in a ball for Wolves but it's beyond everybody and out for a goal kick.
' Wolves player offside. Intriguing story about Jensen's goalkeeping top. Actually wearing a Wolves top, in lime green, due to his cabinet of tops clashing. Hope they had one that fit.
' Moore with an ACROBATIC KICK! OHHH Great save from Oakes, full length to his left, corner. Little's ball punched away, Blake swings in another but caught by the 'keeper.
' Chance for Henri Camara but a great challenge by Gnohere.
' Another corner to Burnley after good work from Camara and Blake, Luzhny knocked it out. Comes to nothing.
' Chaplow finds West, who whipped it in, but Mooro fouled his man.
' Wolves on the attack after the players thought Foy had blown his whistle. Comes to nothing though.
' Camara breezed by Luzhny, but his cross was no good again, scuffed it. Very end to end game this.
' Bird claims Oakes save is the best he's seen against the Clarets this season.
' Cross from Blake, not cleared initially but Naylor is able to get it away in the end.
' Naylor intercepts it from West, but Silas' shot well over the bar.
' Facey hits a good effort, only just went over the bar. Great 'pop'.
' Clarets applying some pressure but in the end Moore loses out and away come Wolves. Comes to nothing though. Lee Naylor slipped and hurt himself, but he'll be OK.
' Chance for Miller, the crowd find their voice, ball cleared by Camara.
' Clarets on the attack, West needed to give it to Chaplow but he swung it in instead and Moore couldn't direct his diving header anywhere near the goal.
' Free kick to Wolves as Facey caught his man.
' Chance for Miller again, but Jensen came out marvellously, sliding at the feet and collects the ball.
' Branch, Jensen deal with the danger in the backlines.
' Blake holding it up, finds Little, who finds West, back to Blake, lost out though to Ince and he comes away.
' Camara swings in a ball, not the greatest again but found Blake, his control was poor though on the chest and the ball is given away.
' Chaplow gets away from his man, a bit of space now, has a crack! My word that was close, it's a corner in fact. Blake's corner swung in but cleared.
' Camara swings in a ball, it found Chaplow but he was closed down and Wolves on the counter, comes to nothing as Iversen was offside.
' Little pulling the strings here, playing really well, gave it to Blake but he stubbed his toe and his shot was powerless and aimless.
' Nice shot, right footed by Blake, straight at Oakes though.
' Ball in from Naylor but easily caught by Brian Jensen.
' Chance for Iversen, but Branch stretched and just got his toe in, cleared by Gnohere. Good tackle.
' Facey, to Blake who tries to get it to Facey but its knocked back to Oakes.
' Little's ball not good enough for Facey down the wing, cleared - offside Wolves.
' Cross in from Moore, Facey in some space from close range, thinks he should have got it on target. It was a good chance and again it was Little who started the move withe the intial ball to Moore.
' Silas slipped Iversen away, but again the former Spurs player is caught offside.
' Blake nearly found West through traffic but it was well challenged by Henri Camara.
' H Camara swings it in, nodded away by M Camara, cleared. Back to H Camara who got away from West, cleared by Branch.
' Blake caught in posession, Wolves come forward, but the shot thankfully went into Jensen.
' Chance for Wolves after Chaplow gave it away, left us exposed, GREAT SAVE by Jensen, came out narrowed the angle and managed to get something on it and away. Corner, cleared by Mo Camara and Grant, Naylors shot into the chest of Jensen.
' Blake in space, Moore released a chance to score...hits it first time with his left, easily caught by Oakes though.
' 1 minute of time added on.
' Mo Camara slipped but recovered well, and Mo Camara was able to win the throw. Gnohere sends it long but collected by Oakes.
Half Time
And we appeared to be the better side.
Second Half
Unfortunately I suffered some more PC troubles and missed the first 3 mins.
' Jensen left with a 1-1 with Miller and he's scored. 1-0 Wolves. Bugger. Soft goal.
' Corner to Burnley. Swung in by Blake, bouncing around a bit in the box. Playing it about now, Little back to Gnohere, Clarets still in posession.
' Clarets still have it. Facey knocked it for Moore, nearly...Chaplow! Poor effort actually didn't come close.
' Burnley coming hard at Wolves, really looking for an equaliser.
' Clarets messing around with it, West in particular, and it's out for a corner. Swung in, not punched away well enough by Jensen, and Craddock shot over the bar.
' Henri Camara swings in a ball, cleared by Mo Camara. Wolves look the brighter side. Rae wins the header but bounces to Jensen.
' Chance for Burnley! Facey, feed it Blake...go on...go on Robbie Blake, OH and it was saved. Oakes saved it with his legs. A great chance for the Clarets. Clarets are leaving themselves open at the back though.
' Double subs for Burnley, Roche and Farrelly coming on for West and Chaplow.
' Great chance for Burnley, Camara got around the back and had a chance to score a fairytale goal, but he stabbed it hopelessly over the bar.
' Branch goes into the book, for a foul.
' Grant takes a shot, but a terrible effort. How about someone who can hit the target please...
' Roche had a good chance but tried to square it when it would have been better for him to have a shot. COME ON BURNLEY.
' Clarets have had a mirriad of chances, but Branch gives it away awfully. Got back and won the challenge.
' Roche makes an error but recovers well with his extra pace.
' Camara looks to swing a ball in for Wolves but Jensen makes the easy catch. Little furious after a clash with Gudjonsson.
' Cross from Little, a little too much height Oakes took it with ease.
' Cross from Blake, and cut out by Gudjonsson for a corner. Corner in, Grant with the header easily saved by Oakes.
' Moore with the run at Butler, but a super challenge from him, clearance not so good, but luckily for Wolves finds its way through, ball in headed away from Mo Camara for a corner. Goal. Corner in, Craddock with the header, 2-0 Wolves.
' Good work from Jensen, closed the attack with a lovely clearance.
' Great chance for Burnley, Little in a great position but he slipped. Won the corner, Little kicks the turf in frustration. Really wanted to win here today did Little and he's worked his socks off.
' Corner to Wolves, cleared, shot well over the bar from Henri Camara.
' Clarke skipping away from the Burnley defence, Branch manages to get a toe in.
' Corner for Wolves, 7-7 is the count now. Comes to nothing.
' Jensen comes to clear, outside the box, with his head.
' 2 mins added on.
' Camara hits a curling right foot volley, goes wide.
' Johansson hits a free-kick into the wall, corner. Headed away by Farrelly.
Full time, Clarets are out of the Carling Cup.
