Clarets LIVE - Derby V Burnley from Pride Park
The Clarets travel to Derby this afternoon desperate for a win. Now lingering by the foot of the table, Stan Ternent's men will need to win at 22nd placed Derby to make or break their season. Having not won since early October, the Lancashire side return to one of a few happy hunting grounds away from home.
In fact, the Clarets have played here twice before, winning once in the league and once in the FA Cup in 1999/2000. Hopefully this run can be continued and the result emulated this afternoon.
The biggest bonus ahead of this afternoon's game is the near certain return for David May who has been out for 7 weeks with a Hamstring tear. He will bolster the defence and will surely come in at centre-back for captain Graham Branch - after the number 6 was fouled horrendously by Arthur Gnohere last week, and is struggling to be fit. Blake should return after the flu, and there are suggestions that Little will probably be back. For once we're blessed with numbers.
Derby will most likely stick with the same side that drew with Ipswich Town 2-2, which included 16 year-olds Lee Holmes and Tom Huddlestone. After throwing away a 2 goal lead, County will be hoping to make things right when they host a Burnley side low on confidence.

6' Corner headed away by Farrelly, still not out of trouble though. Free-kick to Derby, Chaplow snapped his man. Kennedy with it from 45 yards - hooked away by Camara, caused some greif but was cleared.
8' Tony Grant fouls Johnson, Clarets moving forward.
8' Poor ball from Farrelly, but Gnohere gets out of a pickle with some sheer class, skipping away from two men, as calm as you like.
10' Costa got away from Farrelly whipped in a ball for Dichio who got between May and West and sent it wide for a goal-kick.

33' Grant, lovely turn, finds Little who finds West - ball in for Chaplow! Oh brilliant challenge by Taylor to deny Chaplow. Corner. Farrelly swings it in, Gnohere wins the header, doesn't really go anyway and County clear the lines.

36' Little getting back defends well, gets the ball to Grant, who finds Gnohere with a neat pass. Blake has it, gives it Chaplow who loses out trying to turn and Derby desperately clear the lines.

43' Little now, surging forward got the ball to Grant... ARGH! Needed to have a shot but he held on to it, came to Little again, the cross came in but was cleared by Derby and it was a really good chance for Burnley there and we made a meal of it.

45' May picked up a knock, down on his hands and knees. Something not right there, in the challenge with Dichio. Looks to be OK though, jogs off and then back on.

48' Blake surging forward for Burnley tried to find Little but it's cut out. Positive stuff here from Burnley muh more lively and the Clarets fans are making themselves heard.
49' Cross by Holmes, caused a bit of trouble but eventually Chaplow cleared it.
50' Chaplow leaves it for Little, fancies a run at Kennedy, swings in a cross and Grant collects it ahead of Chaplow.
51' Dichio wins the clearance from Grant but it comes to nothing as Gnohere deals with the danger.

90' Grant makes a meal of it in the Derby goal, Moore tried to get in but he couldn't somehow Derby come forward, confusion, mayhem, delerium...Jensen makes the save.

91' Roche wins a corner, his ball in deflected wide. Swung in, comes to nothing and the ball eventually goes out for a throw in for Derby.
92' Gnohere sends it forward, comes straight back, Jensen collects, long ball forward.
93' Gnohere's off. Sent off in injury time, he tugged Dichio back about 40 yards away from goal and the referee has perhaps harshly sent him off. End of the road to Burnley. Where to now though?
95' Penalty to Derby. Jensen caught his man, and a penalty to Derby. It's in. 2-0 Derby, can't even hear the bloody scorer. Didn't deserve this today. Flatters a poor Derby side. It was Taylor.
