The Clarets went into a 2-0 first half lead with a brace from Shay McCartan. The first was a close range effort and then he rounded the goalkeeper to double the lead after receiving the ball from Jason Gilchrist.
We dominated the game and completed the scoring just 11 minutes into the second half when McCartan returned the favourt and played in Gilchrist who scored to ensure that Preston will need to win Wednesday's game on Wednesday to win the league.
