Youths beaten against Carlisle

The game was moved yesterday after Gawthorpe was ruled unfit but it brough the lads no joy as we fell to defeat again. Of the player recently released, Martin Reilly, Mark Crossley and Nicky Platt all played but Marc Pugh and Rob Henry were missing whilst Cayne Hanley was coming on as a sub for Kidderminster in their Conference defeat at Morecambe.

Alex McDonald got the Burnley goal, scoring with just over twenty minutes to go after Carlisle had gone 2-0 up. The side included four players from the Centre of Excellence and the line up was: Mark Crossley, Jack Overson, Tom Blackler, Martin Reilly, Paul Casey (Dean Stott 65), Jay Rodriguez, Nicky Platt, Adam Kay, Lewis Craig, Alex McDonald (Ali Akbar 86), Rob Turner.
