Youth team set for cup action

The game comes round with both teams in good form. Burnley have won six successive games, including five in the league and a friendly against Everton, whilst Scunthorpe come into the game on the back of a run of four wins.

Terry Pashley is looking to continue that run of wins and said the team had stopped conceding silly goals. "They are playing with confidence and hopefully we can take that into the game tonight because we only get one chance at it and we want to progress," he said.

"In the last couple of years we have been drawn against some big teams in Everton and Arsenal and we would like to get through and see how far we can go this time. It's important for the lads and playing at a league ground adds a little bit more spice."

Burnley line up: Danny McDonald, Ed Williams, Tom Anderson, Steve Edwards, Jake McEneaney, Ross Wilson, Dave Lynch, Joe McKee, Michael King, Dom Knowles, Liam Newman. Subs: Cook, Joe Jackson, James Taylor, Curtis Woods, Steven Hewit.
