Joe McKee - back for tonight's game
Grimsby overcame Port Vale in the last round on penalties whilst it is the first round of entry for the young Clarets who will be hoping to make some progress in the competition.

Unfortunately we go into the game with injuries. Central defenders Tom Anderson, Neil Yadolahi and Steve Edwards are all out as are winger Adam Evans and midfielder Alex Mullin. They are on the sidelines alongside long term injury victims Ben Woodhead and James Taylor.

On the positive side, both Aryn Williams and Joe McKee are named in the starting eleven.

Australian Williams, brother of former loan player Rhys, has been with us all season but has had to patiently wait for international clearance from the Australian FA. That finally came through last week enabling him to play in the Youth Alliance Cup penalty defeat against Wigan on Saturday.

That also saw the return from injury of leading scorer Joe McKee via the subs bench and McKee is now fit enough to resume in the midfield tonight.

Youth coach Terry Pashley said: "I am looking forward to watching the lads play because we have been playing well. We lost on Saturday on penalties but we did more than enough to win the game so we are going there with confidence.

For any Burnley supporters in the area who are going to the game, just the main stand is open at Blundell Park tonight and admission is £3 adults and £1 concessions.

Burnley's team is: Josh Cook, Aryn Williams, Alex Coleman, Curtis Woods, Ed Williams, Shay McCartan, Joe McKee, Dave Lynch, Steven Hewitt, Ross Wilson, Joe Jackson. Subs: Jokovlewicz, Dean Overson, Archie Love, Mehdi Lazaar, Tommy Taylor.
