Stef Ritchie - in goal tonight
There will none of the full time professionals in the side and it will made it fully with apprentices. With Jay Rodriguez out on loan we could have expected one or both of Rob Turner and Wes Fletcher to play but both are out injured and so we go into the game without a recognised striker. Also out is goalkeeper Jonathan Sergeant with a hand injury.

The team is: Stef Ritchie, Ben Hoskin, Thomas Bradley, Alex-Ray Harvey, Dan Brown, Dean Stott, Dil Chaggar, Adam Kay, Lewis Craig, Alex MacDonald, James Craggs.

Rochdale are expected to include a number of players with first team experience including James Spencer, Lee Crooks, Nathan D'Laryea and Joe Thompson along with Martin Donnelly who has just joined them on loan from Sheffield United.

Burnley will be looking to complete the double over Rochdale having beaten them 5-2 earlier in the season at Rossendale United's Dark Lane. On that occasion we were 2-0 down but won easily with goals from Steve Jones, David Unsworth, Ade Akinbiyi, James O'Connor and Jay Rodriguez.
