Last Thursday a David Gray goal gave Manchester United a 1-0 win over Bolton, a result that took them above Liverpool to the top of the league.

This week, Blackburn v Everton and Manchester City v Wigan were both called off on Tuesday and tonight the re-arranged derby between Manchester United and Manchester City fell victim to the weather with the Altrincham pitch frozen.

With teams required to play eighteen games during the season, half of the teams have still played half the games or less which means there will be a glut of fixtures during now and the end of the season.

Burnley have re-arranged all their games now, including the 'Burnley v Blackburn' game which will be played on Thursday 1st April. That comes two days after we've met in the away game at Leigh and four days after the first team game against them on the Turf.

We are one of four teams in action next week. That's a week tonight when we play Manchester United at Altrincham with a 7:00 p.m. kick off. It will almost certainly be a young Burnley side with manager Brian Laws taking his first team squad away that week.
