Two more goals for Sam Vokes

Burnley led 2-0 at half time with Sam having scored both goals. His first came in the 17th minute when Cameron Howieson found Jason Gilchrist with some superb play. Gilchrist set up Vokes who turned his shot home off the post.

It was 2-0 with eleven minutes remaining in the first half with Vokes getting his second from close range after good work from Luke Daly down the right hand side.

Burnley doubled that lead early in the second half with two more, the first from Steven Hewitt and then from Jason Gilchrist with a powerful header from a Hewitt cross.

Blackpool pulled one back with 12 minutes to go but within two minutes it was 5-1 with Jamie Frost, on as a substitute, scoring with a good effort from outside the box to complete the scoring.
