Two out of two for youth team

Anderson netted one in each half as the Clarets took advantage by bringing this game forward from February to make it six points out of six., and the points were fully deserved after another good performance, this time without giving the opposition a two goal lead.

Matt Lomas got onto a clearance just before half time. His cross was met by central defender Chris Lynch who put it into Anderson's path for him to volley home.

For the second Wes Fletcher laid the ball off for Michael King and he knocked the ball wide for Anderson to finish with a low shot to the keeper's right.

The only other game of the day saw Macclesfield and Carlisle draw 2-2 and the Clarets will next be in action this coming Saturday at Gawthorpe when we play Morecambe.

The teams was: Stef Ritchie, Matt Lomas (Ben Hoskin), Nik Kudiersky, Chris Lynch, Jake McAnearney, Dil Chaggar, Chris Anderson, Alex-Ray Harvey, James Craggs (Michael King), Wes Fletcher, Dominic Knowles. Subs not used: Dan MacDonald, Oliver Devenney, Liam Newman.
