Today's youth game off

To be fair the weather is somewhat different. Although there is snow around now those howling gales are gone and I would suspect the temperatures down there are considerably higher than they were on Friday.

However, the Lancashire FA Youth Cup Semi-Final against Wigan will not go ahead this afternoon, and as yet we have no new date for the game. Once played, the winners will face Preston or Blackpool in the final.

The next scheduled youth game is this coming Saturday when we play Tranmere Rovers at Gawthorpe - kick off 11:00 a.m.

This will be the second time we have played them this season having beaten them 2-1 in an earlier round of the Youth Alliance Cup with goals from James Craggs and Liam Newman.
