Youth coach Terry Pashley has named as strong a side as possible with all three remaining 2nd years, Luke Conlan, Luke Gallagher and Jason Gilchrist, named in the team alongside six 1st years and two under 16s in Jamie Frost and Christian Hill.

Burnley will be hoping the game doesn't go to penalties. We haven't actually lost a game in this competition since October 2006 during the game, but in each of the last five seasons have gone out in a penalty shoot out.

It started with Hartlepool in the 2007/08. There was a long delay that day with officials not sure whether extra time should be played. Since we've lost shoot outs at Shrewsbury and Notts County and both home and away against Wigan.

Today's game sees us against Walsall who looked to be heading for the league title last season before falling away towards the end of the season. This season they are behind us on goal difference having played one game more.

Our team for this afternoon's game is: Conor Mitchell, Cameron Dummigan, Charlie Holt, Alex Whitmore, Luke Conlan, Luke Gallagher, Nathan Lowe, Jamie Frost, Christian Hill, Jason Gilchrist, Lewis Nuttall. Subs: Callum Jakovlevs, Brad Jackson, Luke Daly, Evan Galvin, Kevin Ly.

Finally, and of far more importance, we are pleased to report that Jack Errington came through his heart operation successfully earlier this month. Our best wishes to Jack and we look forward to seeing him back in action next season.
