Strong line up for reserves

Mark Randall - plays in the reserves
Three of last night's substitutes - Gabor Kiraly, Mark Randall and John Spicer - are all included as are left back Stephen Jordan and midfielders Alan Mahon Garreth O'Connor.

Mahon, like Duff, is on his way back from injury. Apart from a short substitute appearance at Coventry last month he hasn't played since the home game against Preston in December whilst Jordan hasn't had a game since he came on as a sub in the heavy New Year's Day defeat at Blackpool.

Preston's team is less experienced but there will be one familiar face in their line up in our former youth team captain Neal Trotman. Neal has recently moved to Deepdale in a £500,000 transfer from Oldham but is still awaiting his first team debut for his new club.

The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. this evening at Irongate, home of Bamber Bridge, and will be only our second reserve team game this year.

The teams tonight are:

Preston: Neal, Aspin, Shearwood, Whalley, Trotman, Appiah, Mayor, Fairhurst, Smyth, Anyinsah, Neal. Subs: Barton, Cudworth, Collins, Conachie, Miller.

Burnley: Gabor Kiraly, Dean Stott, Michael Duff, Chris Lynch, Stephen Jordan, Garreth O'Connor, Mark Randall, John Spicer, Alan Mahon, Wes Fletcher, Alex MacDonald. Subs: Stef Ritchie, Thomas Bradley, Adam Kay, Alex-Ray Harvey, Chris Anderson.
