Semi final beckons for youth team

Wes Fletcher - hat trick
Today's win was our second away from home in this season's competition and no matter what happens we won't have a home tie.

After beating Bury in the last round we've seen off Oldham by the same 3-1 scoreline this afternoon with striker Wes Fletcher, rested on Saturday, scoring all three to take his goal tally this season past thirty.

It is Tranmere next in the semi, although there is no date or that as yet and should we win through then we'll travel to Preston for the final to play a side that has scored no fewer than 24 goals in three games to reach that final.

Well done to the lads this afternoon, and best wishes to the second years for tomorrow when they will learn whether they are going to be offered professional contracts.
