Reserves set for last game

This afternoon? Yes, that's right. After a list of feeble excuses for calling the game off this 'all ticket' affair will now be played this afternoon with a 2:00 p.m. kick off. It's the final big effort to keep people away from a game many of us were beginning to believe wouldn't even be played.

Late attempts by Burnley to move the game to Turf Moor have failed, and it will go ahead on the dust bowl of Accy with supporters at either end of the game in what must surely be our first ever all ticket reserve game.

We are not expecting any international calls (one reason for it having been called off this season) and neither are there any youth cup games (yet another reason given). And unless there's a deluge it isn't likely that the pitch will be declared unfit (even though it does resemble the surface of the moon).

Burnley fans are in the Clayton End (pictured) and will need tickets to gain entry.
