Carlisle even took the lead in the game but Preston equalised and then went on to score two late goals to win it.
The result now leaves Carlisle still in second place and still five points ahead of the Clarets, but now we have four games in hand on them. Wrexham sit in top place with three more points than Carlisle from one more game.
We travel to Wrexham this Saturday, a win would really lift our hopes of winning the league.
